Wow, what an incredible day!! I called Wycliffe today to find out my balance on my account, and it was about 65% of my total need for my trip! Whoo-hoo!!! Then, I called up a couple that had been waiting to hear how much had come in. I told them how much was still needed, and they made a huge contribution, bringing the total up to more than 85%!! How amazing is that! The generosity of God's people truly blows me away. Thanks to everyone who has given financially and prayerfully to this trip!
Things are really coming together now. I finally know the flight details all the way to Nampula, Mozambique where I'll be staying. I'm leaving Calgary on Monday, May 5, but won't get into Nampula until Friday afternoon. I'm sure it'll be a LONG week of traveling!!! I've got all my paperwork in order and all the little odds and ends are taken care of. I'm just waiting for a couple things to come in the mail - packages that I'm taking with me for the staff there. And I think I'll do a packing trial on Saturday, just so I know how things will fit. I'm trying to pack light!

How does that subscribe thing work???
If you click on Subscribe to Posts, a window opens up with a little explanation and asks you if you want to subscribe to this feed. You can also change the settings like how often Internet Explorer will check my website for new information. That option is under View Feed Properties. If you use Internet Explorer, you can then click on the star on the left hand side of your window and go into feeds. My blog should then be listed there. If there is new info posted there, the title will be bolded. I'm just learning this stuff too!
