I've been thinking a lot about the Linguistics program at Trinity Western again. It's amazing to think that they can have the professionalism of teaching the science of Linguistics and combine it with a nurturing Christian environment. I really haven't had a place of Christian encouragement these past couple years at the U of C, and that is something my heart really longs for. I long to be connected with other Christians my age that have passion for digging in deeper and doing what they can to serve Him, all the while studying to develop their academic abilities to further them in their area of expertise. There, studying for a career is part of one's ministry. You study to become a professional and that career is your mission field. What an incredible way to view life!
I really want to be a part of all that, but how? The process of transfering credits is long and complicated and I don't have the resources to pay the cost. God, direct my paths. Be my guiding light. I will follow.
