Employed

I just started my new job today! Following the family trend, I'm working at CSH just outside of Red Deer (my bro and his girlfriend work there too). I'm working in the cafe and I'm getting paid pretty well! It really is an answer to prayer, because who would have thought that I would be able to find a job so fast? (Last time I came home, I didn't find one for a whole month!) And such easy work for a decent wage? That's cool.

I also found a program at Trinity Western University that looks really interesting. It's a Linguistics program! When you're done, you can work in translation, studying languages, speech pathology, etc. TWU also has the training center for Wycliffe Bible Translators on campus, so it would be an easy way to get more information about the organization, and to get involved with that kind of work! I have booked a flight to go and see the campus on Jan 19-20. It'll be great because I can see things for myself, and get to talk to people one-on-one. The only thing that's holding me back is the HUGE cost for tuition and accomodation - $25,000 a year. A little over my next-to-nothing budget. But, I'm looking at my options for transferring from a different university. Either way, no worries - I've seen God provide before, and I believe He'll do it again!!
