Well, I've moved on from the ski hill to doing admin at a landscaping company. So far so good, although they have mentioned they want a three-year committment out of me. That really scares me because I've never done something for that long before (other than the mandatory years of school)!
From March 23 to April 3 I will be in Mexico with the High School group from my church. They're going on a missions trip and doing mostly discipleship and evangelism. I'm going as a translator, so remember me in your prayers!!
I've had this passion for languages and traveling for a while now, and I'm trying to figure out how to make it work. I know that I'm somewhat able to organize my life the way I want, so I want to make sure that I'm not just sitting back on the sidelines watching my life pass me by. I want to make my life exciting and adventurous! So my next step is hopefully to learn German and travel to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, etc. I've also been considering a Linguistics program at UofC (Trinity's wasn't quite what I am looking for). So, I'm just praying for God's guidance and direction - that I'll be able to know where and when to spend my efforts.
