Thanks everyone for praying for me, and sorry that I kind of laid low for a while, but I'm back in Canada now! I got here on Wednesday, and have had a few days of rest, celebrated my birthday, and did the Christmas dinner thing yesterday.
Future plans? Well, in January, I'm moving in with C's girlfriend, A, just 10 minutes away from home in Red Deer. That'll give me a chance to get out on my own, and start (or continue) the growing-up process. It's kinda funny, but it's a bit hard for my parents. Even though I'm not three time zones away anymore, they're still a bit sad to see me take my stuff out of my room here. Guess growing up is a little difficult for all of us.
From there, I hope to get a job and start planning for university stuff. I'm kindof looking at the teaching side, with maybe a little bit of linguistics thrown in. I looooove languages, and to explore how each one works. I would love to be able to teach languages and possibly to turn it into some kind of translating thing - maybe translating the Bible into still-unknown languages???? Well, still thinking and praying about that one.
It really has been a huge blessing to be home, and I still have not lost contact with the Southern World - still emailing and chatting all the time, keeping up my Spanish, and getting updated on what's going on down there. YWAM is getting ready to accept many teams all at once, just as the DTS Staff Training is starting! It will be a hard month, but wow, imagine all the awesome stuff that will come out of it! Please remember them in your prayers!
Special Christmas blessings to you all!!!
