So you know who I am. Now, who are YOU?

Yes, I know - it's been a while. Sorry! It's not that I'm particularly busy, it's mostly because I've completely forgotten! I started out this blog as a way to keep supporters informed as I went on missions trips, and then it sort of stayed with me as a general update on my life for a few people that live too far away to have regular conversations with. I know I have one regular reader (you know who you are, M!) and a few others who stop by occasionally. Just for curiosity's sake, if you're reading this, could you post a little "hello" or something in the comments or simply send me an email? It would be nice to know who I'm writing to. And maybe that will give me more incentive to write regularly! :)

Anywho, on to the juicy details... Well, I'm not sure there are any juicy details. Life has been pretty chill, with me mostly being a housewife (trying a few new things out in the kitchen, etc.) and job seeker (applying to as many positions as I can). I kind of like life at home - there's a sense of peace to it, and I can plan out how my day will go. I don't have to answer to anyone, really, I mean, not in the business hierarchical sense. I'm a born organizer, so I've enjoyed maintaining my house as organized and as clean as physically possible! haha Nerd, I know. As for job searching, there have been interviews here and there, but nothing very exciting. Except for this one administrative position for which I have made it to the second round of interviews. I'm pretty excited for it, and my interview is on Wednesday and in downtown Vancouver! Talk about fancy! (PS - The job is actually in Surrey, so don't worry!) So, that's my focus right now.

I've started crocheting, and that's actually been more fun than I thought it would be! Don't get too excited - I'm working on a dishcloth. And I've totally abandoned the instructions. But, you know.

There was talk about some volunteer work with Wycliffe via the internet, but that was back in June or July, and I haven't heard much since then. My guess is that they're trying to figure out the logistics and the network stuff, but because it's been so long, I've kind of lost hope. I bet they'll get going once I get a full time job, and then I'll be a mad woman trying to get everything done! Such is life, I suppose! Well, I've been a university student for the past 4 years, so I should be ok, right? :)

Well, that's about all. Sorry to bore you with my less-than-exciting life at the moment! Feel free to let me know how you're doing!
