Before the mad rush

One week in! I'm still pretty excited for this semester, even though my schedule is getting more and more crowded! It is so full with classes, sessions with a language resource person, planning sessions, and even a Bible study! But it will be good. This week has been strangely easy as far as readings and assignments, so I've tried to get ahead in whatever I can in order to prepare for the craziness that will begin this week. I still don't know which language I will be working with - they're still working on finding someone. It's another one of those cultural clash things because some people have their sessions starting tomorrow! Let's pray that it all comes together in these next hours...

Another prayer request involves just day-to-day things that arise when living with a roommate. Just pray for understanding and time and space to ourselves even while we occupy a very small apartment. Pray that we would get settled into our separate schedules quickly and that we would branch out for social connections.

So, another relatively chill evening before the mad rush begins. I bet all of you are enjoying the fact that you are not in the midst of the demands of school anymore!
