I'm almost two weeks into the new semester now, and it is a busy one! I have three Linguistics classes, all 4th year classes, then a Bio class and a History of Christianity class. They should all be very rewarding classes, both academically and spiritually. The History class and my Philosophy of Language class will present a lot of things to think about and challenge me to see where I fit and what I believe. The other two Ling classes will be very practical, with direct applications to any kind of fieldwork. And the Bio class, well, I'm taking it because it's required, but I think I will learn a lot, too.
C and I have moved into an on-campus apartment, and we're loving it! It's a great atmosphere with a kitchen!! We're slowly meeting our new neighbours, which is great.
My prayer now is that I will be able to keep up with all the readings and papers, while not missing out on the social side of life. My roommate is pretty good about reminding me of that! :)
