These last three weeks have been so wonderful! I have had lots of time to recover from the busy semester and have spent many days playing with my ever growing niece. My marks finally came through the other day and I achieved a 4.0 this semester! Of course, TWU's scale is out of 4.3 because they add an extra 0.3 for the A+, but that is still a mark to be proud of. Thanks for your prayers during the final push.
Now, I feel ready to head back to school. There will be lots to do when I get back, mostly due to the moving out of dorms and into an apartment, but it will be exciting. I miss Linguistics, so it will be great to continue learning.
By the end of this coming semester, I will have only two semesters left - one year. By Spring 2010, I will have my degree completed (God-willingly). Time is ticking, and I know I need to really prayerfully consider how to begin my work with Wycliffe. The application process takes a year or so (including raising the needed support), so I really need to seek what God has for me. He knows the desires of my heart and the direction that I would like to go, but I want to go where He has planned. As this semester begins, please pray that my heart would be tuned to His voice so I can follow where He leads, and that the doors will open in the direction of His calling.
Happy New Year to everyone!
