Lesson from Luther

We watched the movie Luther today. In his era, the Bible was only used in Latin, so the common people couldn’t read it for themselves. As a result, the church leaders were able to twist theology so much over time. It is the same here in Africa. The people can’t read the Bible because it is not in their language. So, heresy does happen in the church because there is no one to check the teachings against scripture. May God hasten the process of translation and literacy here in Africa!
