New couple!

Things are just too good to be true lately! This church that we've started attending has been wonderful! I have never felt so welcome at a church before in my life! We can't go on a Sunday morning without someone (more than likely, multiple people) coming up to us and asking us how we're doing, and really trying to connect with us. Last Sunday, we were introduced to a couple who lead a care group. Unfortunately, the day of the week they hold their care group conflicts with our schedule, but despite this, the couple asked us out for coffee! I was kind-of caught off-guard that they would want to put the effort into getting to know us if they knew they couldn't have us in their group! We met with them tonight and it was amazing! I felt so comfortable with them, and we really seemed to hit it off! Both of us couples are interracial, intercultural couples, who love to travel, and are young-marrieds. It was incredible to get to know a couple together as a couple, too, where neither of us knew the couple already, but we were both entering this together. We really felt welcome and at home with them, and conversation flowed really well. They made it clear that they really want to see us connected at the church, and they would love to get to know us better. Wow, these blessings from God just do not stop!!
