On another note, Steve and I have been going to Samuel's Mantle, a prophetic training school. (I've included a link to Samuel's Mantle in the My Links section on the right side of this page.) Basically, it's to learn how to hear the voice of God. Last night, I was prayed for and I felt a huge difference in my emotions. Before, I was very conflicted and "spirally" in my head. All I wanted was peace, peace, peace! A lot of stuff was said over me, a lot that I don't remember, some I don't understand, and some I'll have to test. But, one thing I know for sure: It was soooooooo lovely to be in the presence of the Living God! Wow! I really want to experience Him like that every day. I'm still having trouble hearing Him, but with some practice and some breaking down of misinformed paradigms, I know I will be able to. So excited to begin to have two-way conversations with my Lord!

Bookkeeping & Hearing God
I decided to take the bookkeeping courses after all! I had the first class on Monday and it went pretty well. I'm finding the content really interesting and straight-forward, so far at least. I am finding it extremely different from university, though! I'm used to jam-packed classes with complex theories and problems and frantic scribbling of notes. But in this class, she repeats everything a lot and works through problems step-by-step. The students ask questions that were just asked a few minutes prior, but the teacher doesn't seem put-off by that. I guess it's a good thing. I've read so far ahead in the textbook that I'm a bit bored listening to stuff I already know and waiting for her to explain it in detail to the rest of the class. She even said to the class, "If you don't have time to read the whole chapter," which is only 10 pages max, by the way, "just read the definitions in the margins of the pages." Wow. Well, I guess I have to remember that these people are not university students and this is not a university class. Gotta keep that pride in check.
