God our Provider

With the beginning of a new school year and preparing for a wedding and the start of a new life, anxiety over finances has been ever increasing. It just seems that all sources are exhausted and yet there are more and more bills to be paid! I know Jesus tells us over and over that we don't need to worry, that He takes care of the flowers and the birds, and that the Father knows exactly what we need, but it is still difficult to actually turn off the concern and hand all those fears over to Him. I've been praying for God's peace in all of this, and He has responded! Twice now, my fiance has received a paycheque that he had sort-of forgot about and it ended up being exactly the amount of something he needed to pay for! And I got an unexpected cheque that helps pay for piled-up living expenses! See? God really does know what He is doing. I just need to trust Him a little more. Give Him a little more credit. And trust Him as if I had never been let down by anyone before. I hope to report again soon about more examples of God's provision and faithfulness!
