So I began the application process to become a member of Wycliffe! I'm still not sure where or when God wants me to begin fieldwork, but I thought I would get the ball rolling on the process anyway. Sometimes just doing something helps to gain some perspective. I met with the Wycliffe reps on campus yesterday to discuss how to get things started, and I was filled with excitement again just thinking of going onto the field! I think I was too concerned about getting a definitive answer from God that I sort-of forgot my passion for it.
One of my profs complimented me on one of my papers this week. He said that he really liked my writing skills, and asked if I was going on to the Masters level. I was so encouraged by this! It's not just me wanting to do it, but I might actually have the skills to do it!
All this will work out in time, and I continue to pray for direction, but I'm glad that things have begun.
