These past few days have been very scheduled, with plans for meeting different groups of people and connecting with different areas of the campus, and I'm tired! I can't wait for classes to start. Meeting with the freshmen Linguistics students was great today and it really made me excited to hang out with people with the same crazy interests as me!
Just wanted to say that my roommate, S, is a newcomer from Japan and she's here to learn some more English, then to study International Studies. Her faith is Buddhism, but she wanted to broaden her views by coming to a Christian campus. Please pray for S as she settles in to a new culture, a new-ish language, a new outlook on life, and a new level of studies. Pray for divine appointments where she can experience the Lord in a new way. She is a great girl and I'm looking forward to knowing her better!
